In this class, we will explore apps, software, and devices that help promote and maintain exercise and diet, monitoring blood sugar, blood pressure, weight medication reminders, using FitBits, Apple Watch, etc., and connecting with Bluetooth.

Online classes are held in a live interactive form using a videoconference platform; in-person classes are at community locations in collaboration with partner organizations.  We provide all instruction in a small group interactive learning setting, whether it is online or in-person.

Gray-New Gloucester Adult Education is now a Northstar Digital Literacy Member.

Northstar provides assessments, instructor-led curricula and self-directed online learning for basic digital literacy skills.Watch for more information coming on free digital literacy classes, assessments, and certificate options.

Two of the great benefits to your Google account are Google Drive and Google Docs. Google Drive is free cloud storage and Google Docs is Google's free alternative to MS Word. In this class you will learn how to store and manage your files online as well as use the Google Docs platform where you can create stunning documents.

Students may enroll in this academic course to earn high school credit, refresh their skills, or prepare for the HiSET (formerly the GED), college, or career.  We offer in-person instruction on campus, remote instruction through Google Meet, and independent study options through learning platforms like NorthStar Digital Literacy.
