Accelerated Core Office Skills for the Modern Professional. This 8-10 week hybrid program, starting on April 1, 2025, is designed to help you gain the essential skills needed for entry-level professional roles in office settings, such as administrative support, customer service, and data entry. Through a mix of in-person and virtual learning, you’ll develop technical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), communication, time management, and workplace professionalism.  CASAS score of 225 or higher required for course. Scholarships may be available.

Westbrook Adult Education offers a comprehensive course aligned with the State of Maine Personal Support Specialist (PSS) curriculum, designed to prepare students for direct care roles in a variety of health care settings. This program includes in-depth instruction in personal care skills, communication, safety, and ethics, while integrating CPR and First Aid training to ensure participants meet state certification requirements.

Upon successful completion, students will earn their PSS certificate along with CPR and First Aid certification, equipping them with the foundational skills and credentials necessary to enter Maine’s healthcare workforce. CASAS of 220 required for entry.

Program Cost: $600 -Scholarships may be available.
