Northern Light Mercy and Gray-New Gloucester Adult Education are partnering once again to offer paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), and Patient Services Representative. To find out more about each of these careers and the training involved please join us for this virtual information session on Thursday, February 27th at noon.

After successful completion of the course requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from the school through which you enrolled. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) workforce training program follows the Maine CNA curriculum, offering classroom instruction, clinical practice, and skills lab training. Students gain expertise in patient care, vital signs, infection control, and mobility support while emphasizing dignity, safety, and communication. Graduates are prepared to pass the state certification exam and succeed in healthcare roles such as long-term care, hospitals, or home health, meeting Maine’s high standards for compassionate care.
