MAEA Conference 2025
Future-Proofing Adult Education Programs: The Advocacy Advantage
This year’s theme emphasizes the vital role advocacy plays in sustaining and expanding adult education in an evolving landscape. As programs face increasing demand and shifting priorities, strategic advocacy has never been more essential to secure the resources, recognition, and reform adult learners need.
The fall MAEA Conference, being held October 16th & 17th, hosted at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine, will bring together educators, administrators, and advocates committed to advancing adult education. Please join us.
The conference and session schedule will be published here as more information becomes available.
Get inspired by Keynote Speaker Alyssa Wright of the Wright Collective, discussing The Power of Advocacy; Using Your Voice for Change. You’ll leave feeling energized and take home ideas and tools to work collaboratively to build a network of adult education partners. She will also present a 90-minute fundraising workshop during the conference. Learn where and how to access and develop strong donor relationships, and take home tips for researching new connectors/funders in the current socio-economic landscape.
Price of the conference includes breakfast on Thursday and Friday, lunch on Thursday and Friday, and heavy hors d’oeuvres at a reception at the end of the conference day on Thursday. Discounted room rates are available at area hotels.
