Parents: It is vital that your student arrive on time for class. Due to late arrivals, students have fallen short of their 30 hours of class time and must make up the time. Because the State of Maine requires 30 hours of class time, if your student arrives late, they will be turned away, and a charge will apply (below) for the class to be made up. It is very important that your student arrives on time. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.

Are you between ages 15 and 19 and want your State of Maine permit to prepare for your driving exam? We offer driver education courses to help build strong, safe, and confident drivers. Students are awarded an instructional permit upon successful completion of the course with a grade of 80 percent or better. Only employee discounts are allowed, but you must call to register. If the student has a medical condition, please contact the office or click on the link below as an additional medical form is required. Total hours of instruction is 40; 30 classroom and 10 driving. Full payment of $575 is required at the time of registration. If a student withdraws from the course, $75 is withheld from the refund to cover program costs. Only employee discounts for this class. Please bring your birth certificate or passport to the first class and a pen to every class as well as glasses for your eye exam, if you wear them.

Experience the Joy of Watercolor while learning to paint landscape elements. This class is designed for intermediate watercolorists. While you do not need to be an advanced student, you should be familiar with your supplies, art terms and comfortable painting with professional watercolor materials. The course accommodates various skill levels while maintaining a focus on fundamental techniques. The first hour of class focuses on instruction and exercises related to that week's topic. Each session features the work of a contemporary or historical watercolorist. In the second hour, students work on individual projects with personalized guidance. You may choose to complete a quick project centered on the day's topic or continue working on a longer-term piece. This class requires some prior watercolor experience—you should know the basics, though you don't need to be beyond beginner level. Materials list will be provided by the instructor.

In this class, we will be using a combination of soft flowing and strengthening exercises, gentle stretching and balance postures focusing on postural alignment, focused breathing and a meditative mindset. For this reason, Tony Dancer, under his TDF program, has created the “Young at Heart Fiesta” Latin Fusion dance class program with low impact, low-volume music to protect hearing, easy steps to follow and lots of laughter. This program is offered free of charge with Tony Dancer, plus once a month potlucks! Adults with strong social relationships have a lower risk of major health problems, such as depression, high blood pressure, and an unhealthy body mass index. *Program is for individuals 70+ only.
