In-Person Training for Healthcare Professionals & Community Members

The AHA BLS Course is an in-person training course for healthcare professionals and others in the community with a need to know how to perform CPR and other lifesaving skills in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings

Course Includes:

• Adult and pediatric CPR
• Two-rescuer scenarios & use of bag-valve masks
• Foreign body airway obstruction
• Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
• Special resuscitation situations
• Stroke, cardiac arrest, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies

Join fiber artist and instructor, Hillary Dow, for an afternoon felting class filled with creativity and fun that will get us into the holiday spirit.

We will use wool sourced from Maine fiber farms and producers to learn needle felting techniques as you transform the puffy piles of wool into a seasonal decoration suitable for a mantle, windowsill, or table display.

Your wool supplies will include:

• core wool
• colored roving for the hat, coat, flesh tone and eyes,
• white curly locks for the hair and beard

The variety of wool brings warmth and whimsy to your needle felting. Hillary will display a showcase of original artwork as well as her children’s books.

She is the author, illustrator and publisher of Binding Tales books, featuring pictures she has needle felted with wool sourced from Maine sheep! From Farm to Bookshelf!
